Tramonta 8mR Yacht

The most successful ship of the Blue Ribbon. 1940 and 1989 was the fastest on the lake bypass seven times between. The second oldest sailing boat on Lake Balaton, 1910-was built in Hamburg, W. in von Hacht's workshop, Tramontana II. under the name.

8mR yacht, the only representative of his class in this country. 1907 and 2008 between approx 500 8mR was built, of this 177 still runs in the world today.

The class marking is misleading: not eight, rather 12.95 meters long, 2.23 meters wide, the length of the mast above the deck 17.9 meter, and the total length 19,80 meter.

So much for dry numbers. Which is indescribable with the data, that hull is graceful, soft form, the subtle heeling of the oversailed ship even in light winds, and in 2010, in Balatonfüredi Bruckner in workshop completed complete, beautiful details of period renovation.
